The Evolution of History

    The Xihu Late used to be part of the Old Yuzhang Taihu Lates group in Han Dynasty. In Zhenyuan 15 year of Tang dynasty ( 799 A.D.), the east of Taihu Late was divided into two parts by the bridge of Hong'en ( Around Yangzi Lane No 186 at present), since then the west parts of Hong'en bridge was well known of Xihu Late.
    Xihu District was separated into No4, No5, No6, No7 four district when Nangchang is founded as a city in 1926. In 1949 of the liberation era, the Xihu district was called No3, No4 district and renamed as Fuhe District and Xihu District in 1955. In 1980, the two districts were merged into one district as Xihu District till now.



    The Executive Popedoms: Xihu Street Office, Dinggong Road Street Office,Guangwai Street Office, Jimazhuang Street Office, Zhaoyang Street Office, Hecaojie Street Office,Shizijie Street Office, Wazijie Street Office,Sanyanjin Street Office, Shanghai Road Street Office, Kuaizixiang Street Office, Nanzhan Street Office ect.
    In Sep of 2002, the Kuaizixiang Street Office and Hecaojie Street Office were merged into Nanpujie Street Office,and parts of Guangwaijie Street Office and the Wazijiao Street Office were merged into Liguangmen Street Office. And Dec 1st in 2002, Taoyuan Street Office was founded.
    2004, before the Adjustments of the District Plans: The Xihu District is bordered on Qingshan Late District to the east and close to the Gan River to the west which is opposite to the New Honggutan District between the river, to the south, as the border of Jianshe Road, border on Qingyunpu District and to the North connect to Zhongshan road, Beijing
